Reimagine what your nonfiction picture book could be. Each week we'll focus on one section of the book, sharing our learnings and answering your questions about the craft of writing nonfiction picture books in an intimate group of no more than 20 members.

This class is designed for anyone interested in exploring the world of nonfiction picture books, from published authors to those new to the category.

Class takes place live over Zoom. Recordings are available.

Week 1: Section 1- Getting Ready to Revise (Introduction - Chapter 2)
Week 2: Section 2 - Story Structures (Chapters 3-7)
Week 3: Section 3 - Scene Writing (Chapters 8-10)
Week 4: Section 4- Vibrant Voice (Chapters 11-14)
Week 5: Section 5 - Perfecting Pacing (Chapters 15-17)
Week 6: Section 6 - Getting Ready to Submit (Chapters 18-19 plus Afterword)
